Definitions:

• BTP: Tait Investments Pty Ltd trading as Border Trays & Powdercoating, ABN: 13151732723.
• Warranty Period: This outlines the time and kilometers travelled in which Border Trays & Powdercoating will warrant their Product.
• Exclusions to the Warranty Cover: these outline what and when Border Trays & Powdercoating will not cover their product.
• Agent or Partner of Border Trays & Powdercoating:
  • Tait Motors Pty Ltd forms part of the Tait Toyota Unit Trust consisting of the following Entities (hereafter collectively referred to as the Tait Auto Group)

    • Tait Toyota
    • Tait Holden
    • Moree Nissan
    • Tait Hino
    • Tait Detailing Service
    • Autopro Goondiwindi
    • Goondiwindi Nissan
    • Tait Ford

Warranty Period:

• 1 year or 10,000kms from the date of Purchase.

What does my Warranty Cover:

• Defects in Materials
• Workmanship

Exclusions to Warranty Cover:

• General Wear and Tear: this includes, but is not limited to:
  • Environmental conditions i.e.
    • White rock roads: which can sandblast and cause chipping to your painted product
    • Beach use: causes sandblasting effect and removes paint

These 2 cases are examples that can lead to potential rust bleeds in your product due to the exposure of steel that is not sealed with paint.

• The product is outside of the Warranty Period
• Misuse or negligence of the BTP product
  • This is inclusive of repairs, maintenance and modifications that have not been completed by BTP or an Agent of BTP.

• Any modifications made, or any affected components on the BTP tray after the date of

delivery from our agents, unless fitted by BTP or our agent, or with written approval for inclusion by BTP or our agent.

• Fitment of the BTP product that was not in accordance with manufacturing guidelines or by an agent of BTP’s.
• The BTP product has been loaded outside of manufacturers weight guidelines:
  • Refer Vehicles manufactures GVM
• Paint discoloration or corrosion due to the use of heavy-duty chemicals
• Any loss or damage caused by towing, collision, force impact, missiles, falling objects, fire, theft or larceny, explosion, earthquake, windstorm, hail, water, flood, adverse conditions, malicious mischief or vandalism.
• Consequential damage.
